Many of you have seen Katas in recent years, however, before the year 2012, this site of great historical importance was in an extreme decrepit state and vandalized.
In the year 2005, nearby to Katas, the Construction of the DG Cement Factory was started and it was one of my earliest projects as a Civil engineer. I used to see Katas almost every second day, the arch's columns were cracked and crumbling. It was extremely dangerous to enter this site.
Also, there were a lot of snakes present at this site, and strange stories associated with them that they are the protector of this site.
It was 2012 when KATAS was restored.
